Day 1

Welcome!

First practice with Pedro.  Went great.  He was a total pro and did not yell at the rest of us for being divas.  Mando jumped on bass for the first time and I coulda sworn I heard various renditions of "Another One Bites the Dust."

I must admit, going over the songs with a fresh take on them can only do good.  Not only are we getting more comfortable with the songs, but we are able to hear another opinion of them.  I hear mutterings among the guys in the vein of "when is Michael going to play electric guitar?", "He is singing all Bee-Gees style," and What's that smell?"  Ahh the joy of one-liners.

Here are a couple pics taken by Chris and myself.  They will get better I promise.  Blurriness=artistic expression. :-)

Lion and the Wolf Blog - The First

We are a group of 4 guys with the intention of writing and performing music for whoever happens to be listening at the time. Sometimes it is a mix of Rhythm and Blues...sometimes it's not.  We are definitely okay with that.  It has really never been this exciting to write music, let alone with this group of gentlemen.

This is the first post to the new Lion and the Wolf blog.  Besides my new found desire to write and update all of you on the goings-on of the band, I must admit there are other motives to why I am starting this.  We are so very excited about the writing process, our new drummer Pedro, and the month and a half leading up to our first live performance (a la the big debut).  I'm excited.  We are excited.  And hopefully over the course of these blog posts, you will be too.

Pictures will be posted.  Video eventually. And anything else that we think might be funny or embarrassing will surely be at the top of my list.

Only a handful of people have heard some of our tunes but we can't wait for that to change. We want all of you readers to hear what we have been working on the past few months and we hope that the songs stick so much to you that you will find yourself quite annoyed. :-)

Please enjoy, react, and comment on what you see.
