Saturday was a big day. Our first show. The first time you guys heard the full band, live. All the anxiety and excitement leading up to this show was running through the four of us. It worked out great that we were able to play for such a relevant cause, Tom's Shoes. BIG thank you to all who showed up and for those that put the event together.
So what next?
Write songs. Play more shows. Write songs. Play more shows.
We have too many ideas BUT it is a problem that we are more than happy to have. Now that the first show is under our belt we can get back to the writing process. There is one great the thing that I noticed about our writing process. There is a good amount of competitiveness in the band. It is the kind of competition that keeps us on our toes. A song idea I had 3 months ago, I would not even dare to bring to the table now. It is as healthy a song-writing process as I have ever been involved with.
Keep an eye out for Chris and I in Uptown Whittier as we might take our guitars out there and find a spot to play for you guys.
Also, take note that we have a Facebook page now.
Pictures from the Tom's Shoes event will be up tomorrow.

I Usually Don't Procrastinate...Usually
So we had to push back that photoshoot that I told you about last week. And, because I was too focused on getting Armando's Prince (or the artist formerly known as Prince) themed birthday card ready, I forgot to even think about taking a camera to his bday at Universal Studios.
I have a few on my phone but nothing that really depicts how much of a good time it was. BUT good news is that we have a birthday party that we will all be at this weekend so there should be some great candids from that.
Also, we have some great group pictures from our first photoshoot which was in Uptown Whittier in September. Thanks to Rene Galindo for those. Let us know if the pictures make you weep, laugh, or punch through a glass window (all will make us happy).
REMINDER: First Lion and the Wolf show next Saturday in Whittier!

Photoshoot Tomorrow
Update:
We will be having a photo shoot tomorrow (Friday) with a young gentleman of a Photographer named Rene Galindo. Check out his work.
Should be fun and I hear he is known for making guys like us look like the most handsome of men (a la Burt Reynolds). You be the judge (but don't be TOO harsh).
Should look something like this:
On another note, we will be celebrating Armando's birthday on Saturday October 3rd. He will be turning 67 and there should be some fun pictures from that as well.
So to recap:
